Our little holiday by the sea - part one.

This year me and Dean ventured to Portugal (where he proposed) and we have booked our wedding for next October in Cyprus so a summer holiday abroad this year was just not going to happen. But we still wanted to have a week away somewhere, for Freya to expierence a holiday for the first time, visit the beach and spend time together as a family. So my dad offered us his little touring caravan for the week. It was just perfect. As we spent a week pottering about by the lush sea shores of the Welsh coast I have decided to break these posts down so this is part one of the holidy.
I had work the day we planned to go on our holiday, so Dean and Freya took the caravan to the camp site while I worked then once I finished at 2pm I drove down myself. We live an hour away from the coast and its the easiest route ever, so this was a nice drive alone listening to Beyonce the whole journey down (and maybe seeing and busting some super cool dance moves) Once I arrived it was late afternoon so we went to get a few bits from the shop and had an early night so we could be raring to go the next morning.
When we woke the next morning, we started our holiday how all holidays should be started - with an amazing fry up. Which Freya thougherly enjoyed and wolfed down. (Baby's first fry up)
Once breakfast was done and we were up and ready to go, we decided to have a day in Aberywyth.
We ventured up to the castle, played in the old romaines and had a play on the park. It is such a lovely place to be when the weather is nice.
Then we walked all around the town and sea front and stopped off for a coffee. It was such a lovely day. Just the three of us, playing and laughing and being away, somewhere not new to us but new to us as a family, together.
Both, Dean and I had spent our holidays with our parents in Aber and Borth when we were growing up and it is just wonderful being able to do the same with Freya. It reminds you of good times from your childhood and how much we fun we had as children - and the fun were having now, together, as a family.
